My research investigates prosodic variation in Chilean Spanish with respect to prosodic phrasing and speech rhythm: sociophonetic variation in Chile and Perú: and how contact between languages in Chile (Spanish and Mapudungun) and Miami (Spanish and English) influences prosody and language-specific sound systems.
